Working Together

I am honored to serve as your State Senator representing District 20.  As your State Senator, I am striving to build a spirit of cooperation in bringing rural and urban areas together.  It is important to build coalitions, that working together, will move Iowa forward so that all Iowans will benefit from the dynamic and technological advances that are taking place every day.  And working together, we will grow Iowa so that we will maintain our quality of life and provide opportunities for our children and grandchildren.

During the legislative session, I will be scheduling forums throughout District 20.  Times and locations for these meetings will be posted on this site as they are scheduled.  As your State Senator, it is important that I know your thoughts and concerns.  Please don't hesitate to contact me via e-mail at john.putney@legis.state.ia.us, by phone 515-281-3371, or mail to State Capitol, Des Moines, IA 50319.
